Marjan Eberlinc, General Manager, Plinovodi d.o.o.
 

Mr Eberlinc was born in 1953 in Trbovlje, Slovenia, and he spent there most of his life. After finishing a secondary school in 1972 he enrolled in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering where he graduated in 1976. He started to gain experiences at the engineering company Rudis, where he worked at senior posts on different energy projects in Slovenia and abroad. In January 2000 he joined gas company Geoplin at the post of Technical Director. In 2003 he was appointed Deputy General Manager and Member of the Board. From January 2005 he is the General Manager of Plinovodi d.o.o., Slovenian gas transmission system operator, a daughter company of Geoplin. In 2010 he became the President of the Energy Industry Chamber of Slovenia. He is married and the father of two children.
